Design a seminar that fits your intellectual interests and the time you have to teach.
The subject and reading
Choose a single text, a period, or a question. Set the reading and decide how much preparation to ask of participants.
The dates and times
Set each session’s date, start time, duration, and timezone. Offer one conversation or a series of up to twelve sessions.
The way you meet
Lead a seminar or a reading group, set a cohort of 2–30 participants, and use your preferred video meeting service. Add your own private meeting link.
The price
Offer a free seminar or set a fixed price for the series. You decide the price; paid enrollment currently runs in Stripe test mode.
Set the schedule, cohort size, and price before enrollment opens. Once a place is reserved, those details stay fixed so participants can plan. You can continue refining the readings and session notes.

A well-led discussion helps readers see what they might have missed alone. Through close reading, questions, and sustained conversation, your seminar gives participants ideas they can continue to contemplate between meetings and long after the course.
Who can teach here?
We welcome university professors, retired faculty, educators, and independent scholars with a serious record of work and experience guiding discussion. Our team reviews academic backgrounds and affiliations before a scholar can publish.
Do I need a current university appointment?
No. Independent and retired scholars are welcome. Share your publications, teaching experience, and relevant work in your application.
Do I have to use Zoom?
No. Use the video meeting service that suits your teaching. Add a recurring meeting link to your seminar; only enrolled participants and the teaching team can see it.
How does pricing work?
You can offer a free seminar or set a fixed price of $1–$2,000 USD for the entire series. Payments are currently in test mode: no real money is collected, and professor payouts are not available yet.
